None really. I was hoping to find one, but you might look on Amazon, they have a few listed for under 1000 dollars, but as far as I can tell, they will be last years' model. New, but not the latest versions.

I do not hide the fact that I am a Ball Watches fan. And this watch, in particular was one of my favorites on the 5 best men's watches for under 2000 dollars list. I love these watches and I love the story of the company.
The oversized, 46mm stainless steel case is polished with a thin bezel, giving lots of space for the black dial. The dial has Arabic numerals for every 5 minutes and has the hour numerals on an inner ring. With the triangle at the 12 o'clock position, in the fashion of pilot watches. The hour, minute and second hands are black tipped in luminous white. There is a day and date window at the 3 o'clock position and the green canvas band has a buckle style clasp.
The watch employs a Ball RR1102 automatic movement. The Ball movement runs at a 28,800 vph, and has 25 jewels. It also has a 38 hour power reserve.

A ball Chronograph, I really like the sound of that. The Engineer Hydrocarbon Magnate Chronograph is just that.
The Watch is all stainless steel. It has a 40mm dial and the crown at the 3 o'clock position with the big guard around it that all the Engineer Hydro series has. It also has the chronograph buttons at the 2 and 4 o'clock positions. The silver face is accented with black markings and the silver hands are inlaid with gas tubes for night viewing. The date window is located at the 12 o'clock position and the chronograph dials are at the 3 & 9 o'clock positions. The Stainless steel, double link band has a tri-fold clasp, and the watch features a tachymeter bezel. And, to round it out, it has a scratch resistant, sapphire lens.
The RR1401-C movement runs at 28,800 bph, and has a chronograph with an accumulated measurement of up to 45 minutes. The movement has 49 jewels and a power reserve of 38 hours.
I think this watch is pretty cool. I dig the over sized crown guard and auxiliary buttons that seem to stick out further than needed. It give the watch a bit of a steam punk feel. I am generally finding the watch for around 2700 dollars. I have even found this one on Amazon, which is rare, you will not find a huge selection of Ball watches on Amazon for some reason. At 2700 it falls way under the 5000 price limit. Some of that is because Ball seems to have a price gap from about 3000 to about 6000 where they have very little choices.

The Trainmaster series is my favorite from the ball watches, they have such a old time look to them, it's almost as if you can own a hundred year old watch. But, with that look, comes the price. The Trainmasters generally sell for well over 5000 dollars, and this one is no exception. But you are getting a pretty nice watch in the transaction.
The 39.5mm case is 18k rose gold, it has a standard crown at the 3 o'clock position, which is also gold. And the front and back lenses are both sapphire. The white face is marked with Arabic numerals at all the hour marks, and the hour minute and second hands are blue with gas tubes for easy nighttime reading. The watch has a small seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position and a date window at the 3 o'clock position. The brown crocodile leather band has a standard, buckle style clasp.
